Time to head south again for a family wedding. Everyone know what means.

Suit time!!!!

Arghhh 4 Benjamins.

We spent some time wandering around the French quarter. Ben got to pet the mules that pull the tours.

He got to go to bed to the sweet tunes of Papa.

We also drove a little bit around the Lakeview neighborhood, which was the site of some extensive flooding. I would have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at the activity in the neighborhood. It seemed like a third had already been rebuilt, and others were being worked on. The traffic was still there.

We heard that it was much worse if you went further east, but we didn't get a chance to drive there.

Sushi Anyone!

A week or two ago Katrina, TRex, Ben and I wanted to make Sushi. So we headed out to the local Japanese grocery store and tried our hand at this passtimes.

Cleaning Up

One of Ben's new things is trying to clean up stuff. If you give him a towel he starts wiping the floor.

We found out why. His school was using him as forced labor to do the dishes. Apparently I hadn't paid his tuition fast enough.

 

On another random note, at work they just painted my room a crazy bright color just over a year after it was painted another crazy bright color. That is exactly what Mot needs a change of hue.

Up late...

I am waiting for some new phone software to compile. I was playing around with some blog logging tools. I found out that I am now the third ranked site for the term "feminine mohawk" on google. So help me I will not rest until I am number one.

The Cuban Calculus Sensation won a prestigous teaching award from the city of Jacksonville.

All I can say is that it was well deserved, and yes Katrina and I were studying all those nights at her house.

One little known fact, Mrs. Randle actually gave me the nickname PablitoRun and it has been my "nom de plume" (french for not my real name :) ) ever since.

Here the two cousins share a smile in the outfits we brought back from Hawaii.

On our last day there the funniest thing happened. I don't know if it was because we swam out with Ben too far, or what, but Chien jumped in the water and took the tow rope from Katrina and pulled him back to shore. Ben had his own personal motor boat.

I really like this phone, and of all the ones I have access to use, normally I use this one. It's a simple phone, so its cheaper too.
