Here is another toy Ben got for Christmas. This is from his Nana. He loves this toy, but it also confounds him somewhat.



Like his mother's brother, Ben's first word seems to be Ball. He says a few other ones, but he needs prompting. (Ok we prompted him here, but he says it on his own, I promise.) BTW...does my voice really sound that femine? I hope not.



Finally, a vision of loveliness, Ben's cousin devours her cake. Lame, unfunny commentary by your's truly. It seemed funny at the time what can I say...

Long Weekend

Sorry for no posts in a while. I have been very very busy....
Anyhow the Louisville cousins came up for the weekend.

We rode the train down on Saturday to go to the art museum and see Millienium Park.


The girls loved playing by "The Bean"

Even more exciting was the wedding party at the bean. The girls all went up and told the bride how BEAUTIFUL she looked.

On sunday we went to Momidomi's and got a picture of all the grandkids today.

And yes Ben is now bigger than his older cousin. The two do look a little alike though.

Beep Beep

Ben went over to a friends house for a playdate. We had a lot of fun!

Family Fun in Florida!!

Just a cute family picture showing how much fun we had in FL over Christmas break! Ben was a little confused by the idea of swimming in December, but he loved it!


 

Last Day In Florida.

Well all good things have to come to an end. We celebrated by turning on the hottub and setting it to bathtub temperature. Then we all took a dip.


Then we got in some last minute play time with the Grandparents. The toys you see are about a 1/10 of his new collection from Christmas.
