Lucky Me!

I still don't know how I possibly got so lucky. But I just wanted to thank KatrinaRun for 6 wonderful years and 1 (soon 2) wonderful child(ren). Happy Anniversary Sweetie!.

(Also happy anniversaries to my parents and to my Uncle and Aunt, we all picked a great day to get married!)

Last post on this

After Yellowstone we drove down to the Grand Teton's national park. My brother, brother-in-law, and I climbed up pretty high into the Teton Range. It was a pretty great experience. I wish we could have gone higher, but with three feet of snow on the ground it was slow going.

The hippy was strong with the pizza place we went to.

We finally made it home! Ben's sister had the good sense to stay in Mommy's tummy while we were gone.

It was quite a contrast, Katrina had really made her self look great, Ben and I looked like we had stumbled out of a wilderness.

Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

Even though a lot of the access roads were closed, we hiked down for some great views of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Mamma Kay was not happy with me bringing Ben out on this platform. Please note the death grip I had on his feet.

Later in the day we stopped and had a picnic.

Here is a good shot of the place we stayed in. The Old Faithful Inn.

Before we left Yellowstone we stopped at the Junior Ranger Station where Ben got to learn some neat things.

More Yellowstone

Some of the Geysers were smaller than others. We found one Ben sized geyser that he could stick his hand into the spray.

It seemed like every drive we got to see neat waterfalls. This was Gibbon falls.

Mamma Kay got to carry Ben around some too. When Ben saw the steam in the background he said that it was like Thomas the Train.

With all this excitement Ben slept like a baby with his Baby.

Day 1 and 2

Ben and I got to go to Yellowstone to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary with them. As you have read, KatrinaRun wasn't able to travel due to her "condition".

Here is a shot of her dropping us off at the airport. Everyone had a sad face on as we were saying our goodbyes.

We didn't get to the hotel until late that night, but first thing in the morning we went out to see Old Faithful. Ben and Caroline loved the Geysers.

Right after we saw the geyser we got to see a buffalo right off the trail.

Then PablitoRun got the honor of carrying both Ben and Caroline up the big hill to see Old Faithful from up on high.

Boys coming home tomorrow!!

My boys are coming home tomorrow and I can't wait to see them!! For those of you who have been wondering why there have been no posts from Pablitorun with pictures from their trip, it is because they have no internet access at their hotel (which turned out to be a good thing because it guaranteed no work was done while on vacation!). So be sure to check back as I am sure there will be several posts related to the trip coming soon!

I miss my boys...

Pablito and Ben are on vacation with the entire Pablitorun family and having a fabulous time...I wish I was with them too! I had to stay home since our baby is due in 2 weeks, so I am missing them a lot. Luckily my mom came up to stay with me and we are having a relaxing week as well. As much fun as I am having and rest I am getting, I still miss my boys!!

Happy Father's Day!!

We had a nice Father's Day...we started the celebration on Saturday night with a nice sushi dinner.

Then Ben had some special presents to give Daddy...

Ben made Daddy his own decorated tie and a magnet with his picture. The theme was that every day is like a vacation with Daddy because they always have so much fun!

You can tell that Daddy really liked his tie and felt very important in it as he took this business call (that is how busy Daddy has been with work lately - he even had to work on Father's Day)...

We want to wish all the wonderful fathers a very special Father's Day today. What a wonderful thing to have a special day to honor all the wonderful Daddy's in our lives. We love you!

Summer Pool Fun

The weather was finally warm enough and sunny enough on the same day to make our first appearance at the pool! You can see how excited Ben was - he has been asking for weeks if the pool is open...

Although it was a nice day, it got a little chilly once out of the water. So Ben needed to warm up in a towel for a while before going home.

Back Blog Posting

Pablitorun and Katrinarun have been so busy at work the past few weeks that we haven't had a chance to blog, so I thought I would back blog the past few weeks so you can see what we have done lately...

We had some very good friends come to visit us. Ben took to Ms. Leanna and Mr. Dave very quickly and had a blast with them, as you can see below. He was very excited to learn that Ms. Leanna and Mr. Dave would soon be having their own baby boy that he will be able to play with in the future. Congrats!!

We went to a summer festival in our town where Ben got to color part of a mural.

And Ben and Daddy got to decorate frisbees...

Here are the finished products!

Super Big Brother

On Saturday we went down to the hospital so Ben could take a Super Big Brother Class.

We got to learn and see all kinds of great things.

We saw the family and friends waiting room, the nursery, and pictures of Mommy's room.

We also got to practice holding and feeding a new baby doll.

I think Ben is going to be a SUPER Big Brother.
