Football Day

Yesterday was Football Day at school. Despite what some may think, Notre Dame still plays football. So we dressed him up in his Irish gear.

Here is a really cute picture of him with some friends. I think Urlacher jerseys were the *in* item for Football day. The teacher in the picture is Miss Liz. Ben likes all his teachers a lot.

Haircut too!

We also found time this weekend to get Ben a haircut. I always think that with short hair he looks a little more like mom, and with long hair a little more like me.

Phase One Complete

Well KatrinaRun and I just finished stage one of getting the house ready for baby. We moved our office out of the 3rd bedroom and downstairs into what used to be the empty living room. I was trying very hard to put this off as long as possible, but actually once we got started, it was not very bad at all. Setting up Ben's new room will be much more fun though.

Cuddling with Chien

Ben loves to cuddle with Chien, but he loves to have his picture taken even more. He always runs over to Chien and gives him a hug. Then he turns towards us and says "camera?"

BTW...notice anything different about Chien....I might have had the pet shop trim a little too close.

Walt Disney World Marathon

I went down to Orlando to cheer TRex and her friend Jen on in the Walt Disney World Marathon. It sounds like the Marathon itself was a lot of fun, but it was not a spectator friendly marathon.

The night before we went to get a large ballon so they could spot me from far off.

I realize that Shrek is not a Disney character but it was all we could find.

Happy New Year!!

We just wanted to wish everyone a very happy new year and best wishes for 2008! We are sure to have an exciting year!

We have a bit of good news to share...we are expecting another little bundle of joy in July!! Apologies that we could not share this news before now, but we were not quite ready to tell Katrinarun's work yet and as some of her coworkers check this site, we had to keep it under wraps. But as she will be telling work next week, we decided we could finally let everyone else know too.

Now I guess we will see if Katrinarun's coworkers actually do check this site...
