Opening day today. Dad and Ben WooWoo dressed up.

 

This is the year...100 years since the last championship.

New Hobby

Ben is getting into a new hobby. He loves to help wash the dishes!!

So now we have dog and dish washing. Pretty soon we will be moving up to lawn mowing, laundry, car washing, and auto repair. I know now why people 100 years ago had 15 kids....how about it KatrinaRun?

Sleepover!

Cousin Caroline came over for a sleepover while the rest of Caroline's family ran in the Shamrock Shuffle.

We had to run some errands but the two were a great help in the grocery store.

Then we had some baby races. It was Daddy's Little Monster by a nose over Sweet Little Princess

Some *quiet* play time.

Then it was time for a story and off to bed.

I'm dreaming of a...

WHITE EASTER....

But the Easter bunny still made it to our house through the snow!

He hid lots of eggs for us to find.

After that we got dressed up and went to a wonderful church service.

Getting Ready for Easter

We had a great Saturday getting ready for Easter.

First off, guess who learned how to use the camera....

He will run around all day taking pictures if we let him. It gives us a new angle, it's the world as Ben sees it.

Well we did some egg decorating.

Everybody needed to get prettied up for Easter.

We left some yummy carrots and milk out for the Easter Bunny. (Ben wanted to leave milk.....)

Well this doesn't happen every day....

Katherine and I got a note from the medical practice that she and I go to for checkups and when we are sick...(NOT Ben's pediatrician) that one of the doctors we have seen had been terminated by the practice.

Now we weren't surprised as we had only seen him for "sick" appointments when our doctor wasn't available, and we both thought he was sort of a jerk, but you don't hear of a doctor getting fired too often.

But today I got the explanation I was looking for, but unfortunately it was in the Chicago Tribune.

Outside!!!

For the first time in a long time we have been able to go outside to enjoy ourselves.

Ben must be like his daddy, when we got outside this afternoon, he announced that he wanted to go running. We ran down to the end of the street. I tried to turn him around, but he wanted to keep going. We ended up running a 1/2 mile loop back to the house.....

Of course....and I am not kidding about this.....we are supposed to get 9 inches of snow tomorrow.

AHHHH I LOVE CHICAGO!

Swimming Class

Ben has started swimming classes. It's great because his good friend from school is in the same class!

Here he is getting ready to play humpty dumpty. (He was very good at jumping into the water.)

Just chilling in the warm water.

Needless to say he was a big fan of his swimming class.
