Last day of vacation

On our last day of vacation, we spent the whole day at the beach soaking in the sun (which turned out to be a good idea since it has been raining in Chicago pretty much ever since we got back!).

Abbey really like the beach and eventually (after she got her feet wet) really enjoyed the waves of the ocean coming up over her. You can tell she is having fun!

We all went out to dinner at a great restaurant on the beach and got to watch this beautiful sunset. Ben was in awe of the beauty.

It was a great family vacation. Thanks to Mimi, Nana, Grand-Patch, Madgie and Patch for having us down! We love and miss you all!

Spending time with family...

Just a few more pictures from our last few days in Naples...

One of the main reasons we went to Naples for Easter was to spend some time with some of Ben and Abbey's great-grandparents and grandparents. Here is Abbey spending time time with Mimi (who she got to meet for the first time this trip).

While spending all this quality time with the grandparents and great-grandparents, Mommy and Daddy got to slip away and have a nice night out! Thanks Madgie and Mimi for watching the kids for us!

Easter Bunny Pictures

Better late than never!

We just found the Easter Bunny in the mall when we were shopping for some new bathing suits, else we would have dressed a little nicer.

When in Naples...

do as the Neapolitans.

That means lots of water, both pool....

and beach. BEACH!!! Did someone say BEACH!!!!!

Some women at the beach just like to sit in the sand and look beautiful. This is one such woman.

Everyone knows that being at the beach is exhausting. Daddy and his baby girl caught a nice nap while the rest of the family fetched pails of water.

Easter Sunday

A shot of the current family. You might have heard that we are looking to expand. Yes I know, even is this terrible economy we are planning on hiring another little one.

Abbey-> Abbey's Mother->Abbey's Mother's Mother->Abbey's Mother's Mother's Mother. I just called them my Easter Eggs. Don't you just love their outfits.

Egg Hunt!!! You might be able to tell that some of the eggs were plastic and contained Chocolate. (Hint...look at his mouth)

Easter in Naples

We got to go to SW Florida for Easter this year to see KatrinaRun's grandparents.

We had to get up at 4:30 to make our flight. I think everyone was glad to hit the Starbucks when we finally got to our gate.

Everyone was FANTASTIC on the ~3 hour plane flight. We make a huge mess though when ever we fly. We strew stuff everywhere.

Here is Patch getting some time in with the littlest (for now) Sheldon.

Since we got in on Saturday afternoon, the first thing we had to do was dye Easter Eggs, so that the Easter Bunny would have some to hide.

It's a girl!

Well it will be a girl in late August. Well she is a girl now it is just that she isn't born yet. Well.....never mind. It's a girl!!!! Now that the womenfolk will outnumber Ben and I, I think I might need to leave the template pretty girlie for a while.

Everything looks great. Mom and Baby to be are doing just fine. Dad is terrified of Minivans....but alas that day is quickly approaching. Bye Bye little sports sedan, I will miss you dearly.
