Abbey's 8 Month Appointment

Well, time flies and Abbey is already 8 months old! We went in on Friday for her appointment to see how she is doing. She weighed in at 16 lbs, 15 oz. and was 26 5/8 inches. That put her in the 30th percentile - so she is still our little peanut. She had her first case of stranger anxiety while we were there. The nurse came in to measure her and when she said hi to Abbey, she started crying! She only calmed down when I held her but cried whenever the nurse looked at her. She seemed ok with the doctor at first, but started crying again when he was checking her teeth and didn't stop until he left her alone. It was weird because she is such a happy and friendly baby. I think she just wasn't feeling well - she has an ear infection right now - but it was still very strange. Other than that though, she did great!
