Labor Day Fun!

One of my favorite things about living in Chicago is that there is always something to do! Since Labor Day was such a beautiful day, we decided to see if there was anything we could do outside. We found 3 festivals very close to us that we were deciding between and then we decided to be true to our roots and check out Irish Fest!

Here is Ben enjoying his Irish lunch (french fries are Irish, right?). Also, he is enjoying some lemonade (I promise it is not Miller Lite in that cup!).

There was a great Irish band playing that Ben really enjoyed. Here he is clapping along to the music...
Then Ben and Daddy went to get a better view - luckily they found some front row seats in the shade!

There was also a great show of children Irish dancers. Here are me and Abbey enjoying the dancing...

What a great day - Happy Labor Day!!
On a side note, how long is it before we can take Abbey out without getting comments that she is too young to be taken out? She is 8 weeks old today yet we still got someone asking us why we are taking her out when she is so little...how long can we stay confined to the house??? And why do people feel the need to share their opinions on these matters!!

You'd better be careful, Paul. If Ben spends too much time around that Miller Lite he might turn into a Brewers fan...
