So we went up to Wasila to see an old gold mining place, but while we were there, we figured we should look up where Sarah Palin lives. That's right, I googled it and found her address and a site to show you exactly where to see it. We followed the road, but it ended in a large fence around her property (perhaps other people have thought of this before). There is a Best Western a few doors down though, so we went out on their dock and could see their house and personal plane from the water. So, here it is. We figured that if we were in Wasila, we might as well look up its most famous resident!

Alaska - Post 4
I forgot to mention in my last post that we also saw a lot of sea life while on the boat. We saw sea otters, seals, and even an Orca, which was really cool!
So our last day we drove up to Wasila, which is about an hour north of Anchorage. On our way up though, we saw a great view of Flat Top, the mountain we climbed our first day...
