Abbey is a big kindergartner now and was so excited to wear her uniform. I took about a million pictures of her in it because she just looks so adorable in it...
And Ben is now a big second grader...
Our tradition on the first day is to take pictures on our front step, so here are the kids on our new front step!

This is the first year Abbey gets out of the car by herself and walks into school with all the big kids. On the first day Ben held her hand and walked her to her classroom before making his way to his class. On the second day, she walked to class on her own, but she still waits for Ben to get out of the car before walking into school. This is the best picture I could get of Ben walking her in on the first day as the guards were telling them to go into school and I was being told to pull up in the drop off line.
Juliette still has to wait and go in the preschool doors with her teachers when they open the doors about 10 minutes after the late bell for the rest of the school has rung. She was excited waiting by the doors though.
She gave me (and the baby) a quick kiss and hug and ran in to line up with her friends. This isn't a great picture, but it just shows how tiny she looks compared to her classmates!
Everyone had a great first day and we went out to lunch to celebrate! We are hopeful for a great year!
