College Friend Visit

After Abbey's birthday, we decided to head out of town again. We had plans to spend a week in the Finger Lakes in NY with Madgie, Patch, Uncle Chris and Aunt Ginny. But first, we decided to take an extra day and stop in Ohio to visit one of my college roomies and her family. Leanna and Dave have two kids, Jackson and Thomas. Oh my goodness, they were adorable and all the kids had so much fun playing together!  Luckily for my kids, Jackson was very sweet and shared his sweet ride with them...they were enthralled!

 

He even let Abbey drive while he rode!

Even Juju got a chance to drive, which was a bit scary for everyone!

We brought Jackson some legos and Ben had a great time showing him how to build things with them.

Love this one of Juliette and Thomas - had to capture this one quickly as this was taken within the 2 second window where Thomas was actually enjoying the ride.  He mostly just wanted to open the door, climb in, climb back out, and close the door...and then repeat!  It was very cute!

We tried to get a picture of all the kids...not an easy task.  I think this was the best one, although Ben isn't looking.

 

Leanna and I!  No matter how much time passes, we can easily pick right back up where we left off.  We love visiting them and try to stop by anytime we are anywhere remotely close to Ohio.  I wish we lived closer, but for now, I will take a short visit!

We had a fantastic time!  The kids were asking when we could visit again as soon as we pulled out of their driveway!  Thank you guys for a great visit and for your hospitality!  Love and miss you guys!
