Day 3

Paul arranged for a fishing trip for the boys on Wednesday morning. So the boys got up super early and went out on a chartered boat to catch some fish. They had a great time and came home with 7 large fish!  Look what Ben caught!

Once they got home, they cleaned up the fish and made them into fillets.  Paul cooked them on the grill and they were delicious! 

 

The girls stayed home during the morning and played at the lake.

It was a lot of work and it was pretty gross.  Glad they did it and not me!

But look at that fillet!  YUM!!

Madgie and Juju played in the lake while the boys cleaned the fish.

After an exhausting morning, the kids all took a nap.  Madgie and Patch stayed at the house while the kids napped and let us go out to some of the local wineries!  Here we are tasting some delicious red wine!

It was a very fun afternoon.  Thanks Madgie and Patch for letting us get away for a bit and have some fun without the kiddos!

That night we made a fire in the fire pit.  It wasn't cold out, so there is only one good reason for making a fire during the summer...
